Dr. J. Robert Beyster, four-time U-M alumnus and entrepreneur, gave $15M to fund computational innovation fellowships, entrepreneurship programs, and capital improvements.

Prof. Charlotte Froese Fischer endowed a Professorship in Theoretical Computer Science in the name of her late husband and U-M alumnus, Prof. Patrick C. Fischer.

Farnam Jahanian, Provost at Carnegie Mellon University, directed funds from the sale of his startup, Arbor Networks, to a graduate fellowship.

Dr. Peter Lee (BS MS PhD CCS 82, 82, 87) and Susan Lee made a discretionary gift for student activities to CSE. The Lees aim to support CSE students to do and achieve more.

Larry Leinweber, President and CEO of New World Systems, gave $2.4M to establish undergraduate scholarships in computer science.

Shirish Nadkarni (BSE EE 82) and Manisha Nadkarni made a gift to support student teams in project-oriented courses in which students develop software and hardware prototypes.
